It's now been 2yrs since my tenant somehow put a golfball size hole in the inside of my fiberglass tub. 1st estimate to repair from another Co. *Insisted* it couldn't be fixed and I needed to replace the entire tub and shower surround. Surface Specialists of Charleston gave me a quote to refinish my kitchen sink. When the technician arrived, he said he could just polish and get the finish back to looking good and did he ever! It looks great, the cost was half the cost for refinishing and he did a great job! I am thrilled. I didn’t think stainless steel sink scratches could be repaired. They can. I looked for someone to remove cut marks from where my son’s friend cut lemons on my extremely expensive stainless steel sink instead of using the cutting board provided as part of the sink. Really. The cuts were so deep where he sawed into the metal that there were even some chips missing. I didn’t have much hope it could be repaired and so for 5 years, heartbroken, I looked at the butchered sink. I called ‘Surface Specialists’ Hakim Elaadil 713-480-8466 in Houston and texted him photos of the sink and he made an appointment for the next day. Today he promised to make it look “better” but that was all he promised. I was ready to accept the look of a “used sink with minor scratches” after all these years. Obviously, I didn’t expect him to perform a miracle. He worked literally for 2 hours sanding and polishing with no breaks. He performed the impossible. He literally made the sink look new. There is not even a hint of a scratch on my stainless sink. I didn’t think it could be done. I am sorry I waited so long. He is skilled and a very nice individual. Call him, you won’t be sad you did.
